We offer Board and Train for our puppies who can’t go home on their regularly scheduled go home day. This is on a case by case basis to ensure the health and safety of your puppy.

Steps to take if you will require your puppy to stay with us beyond the regularly scheduled go home day:

1. Check with us ahead of time for availability.

2. Factors which may impact our ability to provide board and train at any given time are: new prospects coming into our program who aren’t fully vaccinated, our dogs coming in from events where they are exposed to thousands of dogs of unknown vaccination status, another litter being born here.

3. If you will not be here on regularly scheduled go home day, we will require you to pick your puppy remotely through their puppy evaluation. We can have a telephone conference to mutually decide which puppy will be the best fit for you. The reason we cannot have early picks is we must have the puppy cleared by our vet and have their temperament testing completed prior to picks. Once you pick your puppy ( in the waiting list order), they will be saved for you. We can’t have multiple puppy pick days because we must limit foot traffic on the property. After each visitor, extensive cleaning must be done to make sure that nothing has been carried into the existing litter and which could impact future litters.

4. Your puppy must be paid in full prior to your regularly scheduled go home day.

5. You must sign a board and train contract before your regularly scheduled go home day.

6. Please be aware that health certificates and fecals must be within 14 days of the day your puppy actually goes home. These additional fees are your responsibility( additional health certificate, additional fecal) and any other incidentals.

7. Your Trupanion insurance must be activated prior to making your final payment ( on the regularly scheduled go home day). Laurie and Joe’s Labs must have a copy of your policy number.
