Why We Love It
We know how important training is for a healthy relationship with your new puppy. That’s why every puppy you purchase from Laurie and Joe’s Labs has FREE lifetime access to the Baxter & Bella training program!
This program provides pet parents with Lifetime MEMBERS ONLY Access to achieve better animal ownership and experience the very best in canine companionship. Their step-by-step lessons, how-to videos, training methods, materials, and resources will help you successfully integrate your new dog into your life and home… and they even include unlimited one-on-one video conferencing and online canine coaching classes too!
While this is our gift to you, we want to make sure that you are taking making preparations for your puppy seriously. Within the last year, we have had 3 puppies returned because their first owners had unrealistic expectations surrounding puppy raising and the amount of work it entails within the first year. When these puppies went to their second homes, everything went smoothly. So, it wasn’t the puppies… After consulting with my mentors, the only objective measurement I have to whether the prospective owners are willing to put in the work prior to the puppy coming home is the module completion form from Baxter&Bella or Puppy Culture. The Baxter and Bella modules take about 8 hours to complete. I will send you the link as soon as we enter into contract (when the puppies are about 2 weeks of age). You will have until the week that the puppies go home to email me your certificate of completion. If I don’t receive it, I will cancel the sale and refund your reservation fee.
We are offering another option, Puppy Culture, listed separately under favorites. It is an 8 hour series of modules too. The difference is it is more of a behavioral approach ( getting into your puppy’s brain, seeing what makes them tick and modifying behavior). I will require the certificate of completion in the same fashion as I would with Baxter&Bella. Please research both programs. One is not better than the other. It’s more about the way you learn. I am happy to answer any questions about either program. The decision about which program you want to go with must be made at the time you enter into contract with us so you can make the best use of your time.
